“Tourism in Open Mobile Networks and new methods for measuring tourist flows”. This Strategic Research project tackles the lines of research on “Persuasive and Emotional Computing” applied to tourism, Context-aware Computing Systems in Tourism, and new methods for measuring and modelling tourism information.
MERKABILA
A project geared towards the retail sector that aims make its processes (logistics, with the supply chain, with customers, with the institutions, etc.) more efficient, to assist in coming up with new products and services and, basically, to foster the generation of new sustainable commercial business models.
TIMI
“Intelligent Intermodal Goods Transport”. A project born out of the desire to encourage sustainable intermodality and logistic security of goods transport via different means (land, sea and/or air) in order to generate the new technologies and methodologies that will facilitate the creation of the future generation of devices, systems and tools that can contribute towards making the intermodality of logistics of goods transport more intelligent.
BUSCAMEDIA
Project to create a Multimedia Semantic Search Engine that will enable a significant advance to be made in the areas of semantics, audiovisual production and distribution of media that are enriched and independent from consumer networks and terminals.
ASSETS
“Advanced Service Search and Enhancing Technological Solutions for the European Digital Library”. A European Project in which over 24 members from 10 different countries are collaborating to deploy a series of search, browsing and user interface services designed to increase the use of EUROPEANA, the European Digital Library.
