Presence worldwide

The Information Society Business Unit deploys many of its initiatives in different regions of the world.

• It has a network of 40 trading partners called ESI@net Partners that promote their products and services in over 40 countries worldwide.
• It collaborates closely with the ESICenters (regional centres of excellence) in the preparation of services and in research and development work. Right now, there are ESICenters in Bulgaria (for Eastern Europe), in Colombia (for the Andean region) and in Egypt (for the Arab world):

• ITCard Certification of over 20,000 civil servants in Bulgaria.
• Project for digitalizing the tourism sector in Bogotá, Colombia, including the assessment of over 100 companies with the opTIma digital maturity model.
