ITmark PREMIUM for the Ministry of Federal Planning in Argentina

The Computing Department of the Ministry of Federal Planning, Public Investment and Services of Argentina was certified with the certification ITmark PREMIUM in software development. This is the first institution in Argentina that gets this international certification.

As part of its continuous improvement plan and from a first assessment made in 2010, which achieved the certification of ITmark in its first level and where improvement opportunities were identified for the software development department, upgrades and innovations were implemented that allowed to increase the software quality  and the compliance of end users.

The certification obtained is the result of improvement activities in the software construction process undertaken throughout the year 2011, in addition to the overall project improvements and incorporation of best practices and quality standards.

ITmark is a standard that assesses aspects of ISO 27000, Management, and Process Improvement in software development under the framework of CMMI. The above standard is supported by the European Software Institute, now integrated into one of the Divisions of TECNALIA.
