Tecnalia’s Industrial Systems Unit uses innovative models in its relations with its clients, and this enables it to develop unique, advanced, high value solutions, to cut time-to-market of the solutions, and to generate research that exerts a high innovative impact on companies. This strategy of relations is based on three fundamental pillars:

  • Value Management The Industrial Systems Unit has developed a management methodology that maximizes the value contributed to its clients in terms of profitability, growth and positioning. This is translated into a two-way benefit by guaranteeing the setting up of stable, long-term relations.
  • InnoOpen Innovation: we consolidate strategic relations with the best scientific and technological organisations worldwide with an intense geographical presence in their places of origin (international nodes).
  • Project Pyramid: We classify research projects into different types, according to their evolution and proximity to their valorisation (exploitation in the client). Likewise, technological risk, the origin of the funding and the ownership of the asset to be developed constitute, in turn, the criteria for classifying the project.

This strategy is deployed through the Department of Project Managers, a team comprising people with a scientific and technical background and highly specialised in the relationship with the client on all levels and with responsibility over the life-cycle of the development of the asset (from the idea to its valorisation).
