TECNALIA’s Industrial Systems Unit develops new means for the design, manufacture, maintenance and end-of-life of products and services designed to improve the competitiveness of companies.

This unit is active in three main areas: manufacturing and automation systems; robotics and manipulation; and solutions for maintenance and end-of-life.

Tecnalia’s model of organisation based on business units encourages technology transversality and complementarity, thus enabling the Industrial Systems Unit to gear its activity towards such different sectors like: machine tools, aeronautical and shipbuilding production, food industry, construction, renewables and transport, among others.
