TECNALIA’s Foundry and Steelmaking Unit addresses the needs of a sector that is deeply rooted in Europe, by providing it with the differential in innovation it needs to enable it to compete in a globalized world. Its activity focuses on technology transfer through the carrying out of R+D+i projects, or else by fully supporting the sector in its advances in processes/products throughout its value chain.

Industrial Systems Business Unit

TECNALIA’s Industrial Systems Unit develops new mediums for the design, manufacture, maintenance and end-of-life of products and services in order to improve the competitiveness of companies.

This unit is active in three main areas: manufacturing and and automation systems; robotics and manipulation; and maintenance and end-of-life solutions.

Transport Business Unit

TECNALIA’s Transport Unit develops solutions and generates business opportunities by basing itself on R+D+i projects for Automotion, Aerospace and Aeronautics.
