Development of strategic initiatives (policies, plans, programmes) and assessment of innovative solutions (projects) to support the Administration or other Agents in processes to specify and take decisions in planning and in integral, sustainable management (environmental, social, economic), sectoral as well as spatial.

Obtaining resources from waste materials

Recovery of materials from Waste

Recovery and recycling of metal and metal-plastic materials. Obtaining secondary raw materials from waste. Recovery of organic products.

Energy Valorization of Waste

Disposal of waste by means of innovative processes allowing energy exploitation. Development of renewables using organic waste. Handling of CO₂ generated in thermal processes.

 

Waste Disposal

Vitrification using innovative technologies (e.g.: plasma). Waste treatment and disposal.
