Eclipse is becoming a major open source reference technology for building extensible development platforms, runtimes and application frameworks in the embedded system domain.
Eclipse Embedded Day Spain 2011 aims at bringing together experts, practitioners and researchers, mainly from the Spanish embedded systems community, in a mix of high-quality talks, sessions, and demonstrations.
The aim of this conference is to bring the Spanish community of Eclipse users and developers, where companies and research groups working on projects ARTEMIS/FP7, with significant contributions to the Eclipse Community of embedded systems could show their contributions and results based on Eclipse.

| 9:15-10:00 | Keynote: "Work Groups at Eclipse” Ralph Mueller (Director, Eclipse Foundation) – ENG Ralph Mueller started working for the Eclipse Foundation in September 2005. A computer scientist by trade, he sees the main focus of his work in the exploration and building of the European Eclipse Eco System. In addition to this, he is one of the main contact points in Central Europe for companies and individuals that want to use Eclipse, provide services around Eclipse or contribute to Eclipse. Based on his past experience, he is also exploring collaboration with industries such as Automotive or Aerospace with the goal to promote the Eclipse idea into these areas. |
