Traction system for an electric vehicleTraction system for a direct-drive electric vehicle based on a drive wheel. The two drive wheels share a same axis without having any sort of union to couple and regulate their movements. This produces that when one loses adherence, the power available in the engine cannot be used to move the vehicle, reducing its dynamic performance. The patented traction system solves this problem, particularly relevant in agricultural, rural or industrial environments, coupling the movements of both wheels.
Supervision system for spot welding
Supervision system to diagnose and control the quality of the welding spots. It is based on a non-destructive system, registering the dynamic resistance curves and total energy applied during the welding process, obtaining in real-time the diagnosis of a good welding spot or a bad one, comparing the curves with the standard curve obtained during the training process.
Method and apparatus for removing surface contaminants from metallic scrapWaste treatment technology based on a new ladle furnace concept. Waste is treated in a stream of plasma-heated molten metal. It results in the recovery of all the valuable metals.
The main advantages of this solution are its operating flexibility, profitability deriving from the efficiency of the used resources, heating by a low-cost plasma torch and its high performance.
TECNALIA has two patent applications in the scope of automated manufacturing of three-dimensional composite preforms reinforced with fibres (composites), one related with the manipulation and process of compaction of dry fibre and pre-impregnated materials and the second with the anchoring device and the resistive heating method for joint activation.
Claw device for the manipulation of flexible elementsClaws with multiple elements that can move independently in the frame plane that sustains it perpendicularly. Thus in one plane it can be positioned to claw the flexible element on a flat two-dimensional configuration and once it has been captured it can move independently in 3 directions to deposit it into a three-dimensional configuration without generating stretching efforts on a flexible element.
