Sale of the licence to exploit the QUATTRO robot

Tecnalia has an agreement with the American company Adept through which it has assigned to it the licence to exploit Quattro, the world’s fastest manipulation robot. As a result of this move, Adept can exploit the rights over this revolutionary robot in the markets in which it operates (European Union, USA, Canada and Southeast Asia), as well as in others in which it also distributes products through third parties (Japan, South Korea, Russia and Taiwan).

Sale of a heating system licence

In 2007 Tecnalia granted SERT-Metal (France) exclusive rights over a cast heating and temperature control system based on a plasma torch, after having demonstrated that it exerted no adverse effect on the quality of the castings, thus confirming the anticipated operating advantages.

2009 saw the industrial validation of the plasma thermal heating unit.
