Our objective is to improve the levelised cost of electricity (LCOE) of photovoltaic plants and to integrate solar energy into distributed generation and self-consumption scenarios through the development of Photovoltaic Technologies.

For more than 20 years, integrated solar energy has been integrated into the building, urban environment, transport and agricultural environment, in a sustainable and environmentally friendly way.

What are our developments and solutions in Photovoltaic Technologies

  • Sustainability in buildings, means of transport or agricultural land, among others, is fostered. This is because solutions are applied in the cell and module, conversion and energy management or Operation and Maintenance (O&M) of photovoltaic plants is performed.
  • Following the implementation of our systems, the resulting elements are more energy efficient and more durable, because characterization and the electrical, thermal, optical and mechanical design of modules and structures are taken into account.
  • This is carried out through new materials and manufacturing processes.
  • Optimisation and economic performance of photovoltaic systems by developing applications for energy conversion and management and O&M: hardware and firmware for control and power conversion systems, design of energy management systems and data analytics.
  • We have unique infrastructures that support the development and generation of photovoltaic technologies: module manufacturing line, characterisation and testing laboratories, power electronics and micro-grid laboratories, outdoor test spaces.
