In a large number of industrial applications, particular importance is attached to the compatibility of materials, equipment and systems with the environment in which they are going to be located and their service conditions, which is commonly shown in corrosion phenomena.
In the second edition of this course, which is given by renowned experts from TECNALIA and IR Corrosion, we will gain an in-depth understanding of the phenomena that generate the different corrosion processes, we will analyse their occurrence in pipelines and in welded joints, and will learn about the methods for their protection, monitoring and follow-up. We will see corrosion assessment tests and accelerated tests. We will round off by looking at a series of failure analysis case studies. The course will combine theory with practical examples.
The course is aimed at all those interested in understanding the corrosion phenomena in different industrial applications and the means available to prevent them: engineers, technicians, managers, sales managers, heads of maintenance, inspectors, etc.
