This policy is applicable to personal data processing that TECNALIA Research & Innovation (hereinafter, “TECNALIA”) uses on its websites.

Data controller

The personal data controller is TECNALIA Research & Innovation with taxpayer’s ID code (CIF) no. G48975767 and corporate address at Parque Científico y Tecnológico de Gipuzkoa, Mikeletegi Pasealekua 2, 20009 Donostia – San Sebastián (Gipuzkoa). The data controller must guarantee the safety of the processed data in compliance with the provisions established on the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Purpose: Event registration

Purpose of the data processing:
Your personal data shall be processed in order to manage all aspects related to your participation in this event, including, but not limited to, the reservation of your spot, payment management (if applicable), forwarding of information prior to the event, information on changes to the event programme, satisfaction surveys, attendance certificated, etc.

Data retention
Data provided for the event will be kept for as long as they are necessary in order to provide the service, after which, the data will be cancelled or deleted upon fulfilment of all legal obligations.

Lawfulness of data processing
Registration for the event implies the establishment of a legal relationship that makes personal data processing lawful in accordance with Article 6.1 b of GDPR “processing is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is party or in order to take steps at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract”.

The data affected by this processing has been provided by the data subjects themselves, who have authorised its use in accordance with the information previously indicated.
For this processing, only basic identification data and employment details will be used.

Data transfer
Data will not be transferred to third-parties. Should there be any intention to transfer data, prior authorisation will be obtained from the data subjects, unless we are legally obliged to do so.
International Transfer: To hold on-line events, TECNALIA uses the services of GoToWebinar (LogMeIn), which is located outside the European Economic Area. TECNALIA and LogMeIn have entered into a contract with standard clauses approved by the European authority and which guarantees the proper processing of personal data.

Purpose: General contact / Expert contact / Estimate request

Purpose of the data processing:
The purpose for processing the data is to respond to the queries placed with us, to put you in touch with the expert staff at TECNALIA in a particular technology or send the requested information/estimate.

Data retention
The data provided will be stored until it is considered that the requester’s requirements have been fulfilled, after which they will be cancelled or deleted upon fulfilment of all legal obligations.

Forwarding of news on TECNALIA’s activities. This shall include the participation in projects, conferences, and product developments. In addition to invitations to attend the conferences, training sessions, webinars, etc.

Data retention
The data will be stored until deletion has been requested or the consent to its storage is revoked.

Rights

Everyone has the right to know whether TECNALIA is processing their personal data or not.
