Tecnalia Ventures

We build businesses from potential opportunities based on sophisticated technologies (deep tech), making them attractive for investors, thus generating value in society.

TECNALIA Ventures is a 100% TECNALIA owned company, set up with the objective of appraising its R&D and innovation and managing the life cycle of innovative technological assets in order to maximise their impact. To do this, we have developed an entrepreneurship ecosystem which helps us value and launch new technological assets with the ultimate aim of generating value for the companies and for society.

We focus our efforts on connecting the three main pillars of any innovation eco-system: “Minds” (technological / scientific), “Management” (entrepreneurs) and “Money” (investors). Our Incubation Acceleration Programme is aimed at turning technologies into technology-based business opportunities.

As a result of this, TECNALIA has obtained income of €4.7 million in 2019 from the Sale of Industrial Property (4.1% of its income).
