    We are TECNALIA Ventures, TECNALIA’s deeptech Venture Builder

    We value TECNALIA’s investment in R&D and Innovation, identifying and managing business opportunities based on sophisticated technologies (deeptech), through a venture building process.

    To do so, we connect the three main pillars of any innovation eco-system:

    Discover our portfolio of technological assets and deeptech start-ups (invested companies) and DeepTech4Impact, the deeptech accelerator that deploys all the technological potential of TECNALIA to boost start-ups.

    As a result of this, TECNALIA obtained income of € 6.9 million from the Sale of Industrial Property, which is a 4.7% of the total turnover (147 million euros)

    TECNALIA’s deeptech startup H2SITE succeeds in producing hydrogen from ammonia
    TECNALIA’s deeptech startup H2SITE has managed to develop the first hydrogen production system from ammonia on board a ship using membrane reactor technology. As a solution to the challenge of decarbonising maritime transport, this new initiative helps to further scale up its integrated membrane reactor technology.

    Ingredalia increased sales by 150% in 2023
    Ingredalia, a deeptech startup in which TECNALIA has a stake, increased its sales by 150% in 2023 with a production of 100 kg of by-products of broccoli. It has also obtained the internationalisation certificate to export to the United States and other European countries such as Germany, France and the United Kingdom, after being awarded IFS quality.

    Zayer invests in TECNALIA deeptech startup Vixion
    Machine tool company Zayer has invested in Vixion Connected Factor, a deeptech startup in which TECNALIA has a stake. The machine tool manufacturer has become an industrial partner of our deeptech startup and has strengthened its commitment to digitalisation and Industry 4.0.

    TECNALIA has become a shareholder of the deeptech startup VELTIS Rating to boost artificial intelligence, as it could anticipate a new real estate crisis, and climate change as a variable in the analysis of real estate risks. VELTIS, the first real estate rating agency in Europe, is taking part in TECNALIA’s DeepTech4Impact accelerator programme.

    TECNALIA has invested in the creation of a startup for the decarbonisation of urban environments and mobility through integrable photovoltaic technology. IZPITEK came about thanks to the work carried out together with BRANKA SOLUTIONS and offers multifunctional building-integrated photovoltaics (BIPV) solutions, solar installations, mobility and urban environment and sustainable urban furniture.
