We will be participating in the 1st Congress on Innovation in Construction, Building, Infrastructures and Concessions
The 1st Congress on Innovation in Construction, Building, Infrastructures and Concessions (IC2) will be held in Santander in the first week of June 2026. It will be a meeting point where representatives of leading companies, innovation centres, universities and international experts will exchange experiences and knowledge on the major challenges facing the future of construction:
- Digitalisation, sustainability, industrialisation, automation and robotics, energy efficiency, resilient infrastructures and new concession and management models.
The content of the congress is extensive and diverse, designed to cover all aspects of construction through talks, workshops and sessions, with the participation of experts and leading companies from the sector.
Chile: guest country
- This is a pioneering event of the highest scientific level, which seeks to project Spain's role as a leader in innovation to the world and also open up new avenues for international cooperation.
- Furthermore, Chile will be the guest country in this first edition, which will strengthen ties with Latin America and foster strategic alliances for the benefit of a sector that shares challenges on a global scale.
This congress came about from the union of the Spanish Construction Technology Platform (PTEC), the University of Cantabria, through its School of Civil Engineering, and the Construction Cluster Network.
