TECNALIA is organising a conference, to be held on 30th May 2025 at the Energy Intelligence Center, to bring photovoltaics closer to construction.
The conference will kick off with a series of presentations by different key players in the sector: PV manufacturers, PV integrators in buildings, regulatory experts, fire brigades, among others. They will each share their practical experience, highlighting the main challenges encountered and solutions adopted to integrate photovoltaics in buildings.
This will be followed by a round table discussion with the same speakers to compare points of view and debate the different approaches to photovoltaic integration in architecture. This will be followed by a coffee break, which will also serve as an opportunity to visit an exhibition space with real examples of photovoltaic products.
The conference will end with a guided tour of the host building, which boasts integrated photovoltaics. The visit will be led by the architectural firm responsible for the design and the manufacturer of the installed panels, who will explain first-hand the process of integration into the initiative.
