Innovating in the iron and steel industry
The programme is structured into presentations of approximately 20 minutes, in which topics related to innovation in the iron and steel sector will be discussed.
- At the cocktail party, participants will be able to take advantage of the opportunity to chat and network.
- Finally, there will be a visit to the ALBA Synchrotron site, a complex of electron accelerators to produce synchrotron light. It enables the atomic and molecular structure of materials to be visualised and their properties to be studied.
TECNALIA’s participation
- Our researcher, Eva Anglada, will showcase our value proposal in disruptive technologies for streamlining the design of materials, processes and metallic components. She will share our experience in integrated computational materials engineering that enables us to achieve greater efficiency in processes.
- Our colleague Jesús Murgoitio will give a presentation in conjunction with Acerinox on cooperative, connected and automated mobility in the intralogistics of an iron and steel plant.
