ERF Conference Forum 2022 is one of the most important events for the robotics and artificial intelligence community in Europe

European Robotics Forum 2022 is the most influential meeting for engineers, academics, entrepreneurs, investors as well as end users in the field of European robotics. This year, the event is divided into four plenary sessions that will take place over 3 days, with prestigious international speakers from the industrial field, who will give their views on some issues related to sustainability, climate change and how robotics influences in it, self-sustaining networks, social welfare and other environmental aspects.

ERF2022 aims to provide an interdisciplinary platform for the partner companies, as well as to present and discuss the latest developments in the European markets and innovations, future developments, strategies, challenges and tactics in the field of robotics through a program of interactive workshops.

TECNALIA participation at ERF2022

Next 29th of June a workshop organized by DIH-HERO and led by TECNALIA will be held. Michael Obach, senior researcher at TECNALIA will lead this event within the ERF Conference 2022 together with Thierry Keller, Director of NeuroEngineering.

Many companies on the healthcare robotics market struggle with a growing number of regulations and standards.

  • This workshop will share and discuss views and experiences from companies regarding best practices in software development and systems interoperability included in applying standards to this sector.
  • The conclusions of this workshop will help define requirements for developing conformity tools that help in the standards selection of robotics for health.
  • Some best practices in software development in this area for the certification process will be provided.

International speakers from companies in the healthcare robotics sector such as Zbigniew Nawrat, Creative Director of the Foundation for the Development of Cardiac Surgery, and Egil Utheim, Vice President of Health and Home Care at Halodi Robotics, will participate in this workshop.
