Personalised Medicine and Omics Sciences Matchmaking

In response to the need for collaboration and the importance of knowledge sharing in the post-COVID-19 era, this event marks the beginning of the creation of a industrial innovation hub for healthcare technology.

Boosting internationalisation

In this context, public-private partnerships are an essential element for the success of the proposed strategy. The main objective is to create a new industrial scene with high added value in Catalonia, which not only attracts talent and investment, but also has the capacity to internationalise the new products and services developed in the region.

Internationalisation is considered to be an opportunity to establish synergies and collaborations with international benchmark centres, where innovation, investment and industrial development have boosted economic growth and differentiation in industrial capabilities and knowledge generation.

Data-driven innovation

Borja Bonail, Project Manager at TECNALIA and expert in Digital Health, will be taking part in the round table entitled “Data-Driven Innovation: Are We Ready?” on 29 November at 5.45pm. The session will be moderated by Sergio Muñoz, Director of Innovation at FENIN, the Spanish Federation of Healthcare Technology Companies, and Coordinator of the Spanish Platform for Innovation in Healthcare Technology.

Other distinguished panellists at the table will be:

  • Rosa Vivancos, Director of Innovation at AQuAS.
  • Roberto Saiz, Coordinator at the Subdirectorate of Infrastructure and Technical Services of the Health Service of the Principality of Asturias.
  • Miguel Ángel Armengol, Coordinator of the Big Data area at the Progreso y Salud Foundation.

This round table will explore the current readiness for data-driven innovation in the field of health and healthcare technology, offering valuable insight into the challenges and opportunities in this field.

An event that seeks not only to foster innovation, but also to build a future of collaboration and progress in personalised medicine and omics sciences.

Registration is required for each day separately, although it is possible to attend both.
