Our participation in Global Robot Expo
TECNALIA’S head of the Advanced Robotics, Control and Automation platform, Sandra Martínez de Lahidalga will present the progress of the Moldam project on 30 November at 17:40h on the main stage.
This initiative consists of flexible and hybrid robotic manufacturing of composite moulds for large parts with applications in the main industrial sectors.
- The main objective is to develop a flexible hybrid solution for the production of large mould preforms using additive manufacturing technology by means of a high-flow pellet extruder.
- Thermoplastic pellets will be extruded to create the product directly instead of machining it from a bulky piece of metal.
