TECNALIA will actively participate in this conference on industrialised construction to be held in Gijón on 27th November 2025. It will bring together experts from the sector to discuss the challenges and opportunities of a more efficient, technological and sustainable construction model.
Certification and trust: keys to scaling up industrialised construction
- In the block devoted to "Certification and trust: keys to scaling up industrialised construction", Izaskun Martínez, our Director of Construction Lab Services, will address the mechanisms that allow for the consolidation of the industrialised model, such as the certification of products and processes, technical guarantees and the perception of quality by the end customer.
Technology, robotics and AI: building with intelligence
In the block devoted to "Technology, robotics and AI: building with intelligence", our experts will share major advances in automation, industrialisation and sustainability applied to the construction sector.
- Eneritz Barreiro, head of automation of construction processes at TECNALIA, will present an industrialised balcony solution for existing buildings, in addition to moderating the themed block.
- Julen Astudillo, researcher at TECNALIA and coordinator of the AMALTEA initiative, will present an innovative fully automated and sustainable façade system developed within the framework of the AMALTEA initiative, alongside Acciona.
The conference will draw to a close with an institutional presentation by Gijón City Council and a networking space to foster collaboration between public and private actors.
