The agreement will cover the development of R&D and innovation projects in Cyber-security, Big Data and Advanced Interaction Systems
Juan Ignacio Sanz, Managing Director and CEO of Ibermática, and Iñaki San Sebastián, CEO of TECNALIA, have sealed a stable strategic collaboration framework with an initial period of five years. Its goal is to develop R&D and innovation projects that will facilitate the digitalisation process in companies.
These projects will focus on the fields of Cyber-security, Big Data and Advanced Interaction Systems, and will be divided into four types:
- Strategic Development Projects to identify technological trends that impact on markets.
- Talent Development Projects for researchers in digital fields, aimed at their integration into the economic fabric.
- Technological Development Projects, aimed at achieving technological solutions with a high level of maturity for subsequent exploitation.
- Business Development Projects, analysing market opportunities, the joint development of prototypes and experimentation in singular infrastructures.
