Advanced testing and assessment at accredited laboratories

- In the field of the physical-mechanical and durability tests, parameters such as permeability to water vapour and liquids, watertightness, mechanical properties, tensile strength, overlap resistance, tearing or impact, as well as performance under artificial ageing are studied using UV radiation equipment (QUV, ATLAS Ci3000, SUNTEST...) or climatic chambers.
- With regard to fire performance, tests such as the radiant panel test, specific tests for roofing and the flammability test are carried out, all of which are crucial to guarantee safety in buildings and infrastructures.
- Finally, biological tests enable resistance to natural agents to be assessed. These include resistance to root penetration, according to UNE EN 13948, carried out in our own acclimatised greenhouse, and assessment against microorganisms, according to UNE EN ISO 846, where fungal growth, fungicidal effects, bacterial resistance and performance in microbiologically active soils are analysed.
