More than 100 participants from 78 entities at the participatory workshops
The climate change team at TECNALIA contributes to the Building Resilience initiative, part of the Andalusian Climate Action Plan (PAAC); supporting the Andalusian Regional Government in offering sectoral workshops and the management of the preparation process.
The PAAC is one of the key instruments for the development of the Andalusian Climate Change Law. The sessions are aimed at key sectors for adaptation to climate change: territorial planning, infrastructures, urban development and industry.
The first round of workshops, with more than 100 participants from public and private entities, has been held from 22nd to 29th June. The activities will continue throughout 2020 for the development of a portfolio of climate resilience projects as of 2021.
Building Resilience in Andalusia is a Deep Demonstrator project co-funded by the EIT Climate-KIC. In addition to the Andalusian Regional Government, the following organisations are also participating: FIC, Aquatec, IIASA, Red Cross Red Crescent Climate Centre and the Centre for Systems Solutions.
