TECNALIA is finalist in three categories at the Advanced Manufacturing Awards 2026. TECNALIA’s initiatives – The Power of the Proactive Factory,, GIDARC, and RECONMATIC – are competing for awards that recognise industrial excellence and technological innovation.
Three initiatives boosting the industry of the future
The Advanced Manufacturing Awards 2026 have recognised TECNALIA as a finalist in three categories that reflect its commitment to a smarter, more automated and more sustainable industry. This recognition highlights the impact of its initiatives in areas that are strategic for business competitiveness and industrial transformation.
The shortlisted entries are:
- The Power of the Proactive Factory, a finalist in the Smart Factory: Best Connected Production Line category, thanks to its approach to anticipating incidents, optimising processes and improving production efficiency through the smart connection of assets and data.
- GIDARC, in the Best Automated Production and Robotic Integration category, for its contribution to the development of autonomous welding and additive manufacturing solutions.
- RECONMATIC, a finalist in the Best Sustainable Project and Circular Economy category, for its contribution to advanced construction and demolition waste management aimed at maximising its recovery and reuse.
Furthermore, Robotic Solutions for Warehouse Automation | TrebezIA, a startup created and driven by TECNALIA, is also a finalist in the Best Automated Production and Robotic Integration category, thanks to its autonomous mobile robot for multi-product picking without infrastructure in logistics warehouses
The public vote is already underway
Alongside the assessment by the professional jury, the awards include a public voting round. This initiative offers an opportunity to raise the profile of proposals that help to accelerate the transition towards a more competitive, digital and sustainable industry.
