Virginia Aseguinolaza, , Director of Lab Services at TECNALIA, has been appointed the new president of the Spanish Association of Testing, Calibration and Analysis Laboratories (EUROLAB-Spain) for the period 2026–2029.
EUROLAB-Spain is Spain’s leading multi-sector laboratory association and its representative in the European federation EUROLAB aisbl.
The organisation is made up of the leading laboratories and conformity assessment bodies operating in Spain, including TECNALIA, Applus+, SGS, Eurofins, AENOR, TÜV SUD, BUREAU VERITAS and other testing, calibration and analysis bodies. Together, they have a turnover in excess of €900 million and employ more than 16,000 professional staff.

This appointment is a significant honour for both Virginia Aseguinolaza and for TECNALIA, and is a testament to our role in promoting quality, innovation and technical excellence in testing, calibration and analysis services in Spain and Europe.
