On 13th December, TECNALIA will be at the 1st Food Packaging Innovation Meeting in the Basque Country
An event organised by Ontzi that will show food companies the latest developments and solutions in the management of safe, sustainable and competitive packaging.
This session will include an exhibition area, in which TECNALIA will take part, and presentations and discussions about high-impact aspects such as imminent regulatory changes, the future of recycling systems and waste management, as well as the latest material innovations that are already being used in the market.

1st Packaging Innovation Meeting
Ontzi, Basque Food Packaging Innovation Hub, has become the epicentre of food packaging innovation in the Basque Country.
- One of its goals is to be a driving force that brings together the main stakeholders in the sector to face challenges, find solutions and promote strategic projects that will transform the way food and beverages are packaged in the Basque Country.
- This initiative, led by the Basque Food Cluster and the Elika Foundation, and funded by the Basque Government through the PCTI 2030 Innovation Fund, was created to promote R&D&I in order to design safe, sustainable and competitive food packaging that benefits companies in the Basque food chain and, of course, the environment.
