TECNALIA promotes personalised medicine with AI and smart medical devices
On 1-2 October, TECNALIA’s health team will be taking part in European HealthTech Forum 2026, where they will be demonstrating how AI is accelerating personalised medicine and the next generation of smart medical devices.
This event is one of the key meeting points for the European healthcare innovation ecosystem and brings together technology companies, hospitals, healthcare professionals, start-ups, public authorities and investors, with the aim of boosting the digital transformation of the healthcare sector and accelerating the adoption of new technologies in clinical practice.

As part of the European HealthTech Forum programme, TECNALIA will be organising a round-table discussion called “Personalised medicine: from diagnosis to clinical decision-making”, a forum for debate on 1 October at 12.00 pm, where experts from the technology and healthcare sectors will analyse AI’s potential to help us move towards a more a predictive, preventive and personalised approach to medicine.
The session will be moderated by Sergio Muñoz, Digital Health expert at TECNALIA; Borja Bonail, Medical Technologies Researcher at TECNALIA, and representatives from innovative companies in the sector, including OmicaTech and Samira DTx, alongside professionals from the clinical field, who will share their views on the challenges and opportunities involved in taking personalised medicine from research into clinical practice.
