The digital revolution in cardiovascular health is here
TECNALIA is participating in the next edition of the SEC 2025 Congress, the leading event in cardiovascular health, which will be held from 23rd to 25th October at the Conference Centre in Granada. This event, organised by the Spanish Society of Cardiology, brings together more than 4,000 professionals from the clinical, research and technological fields, consolidating itself as a key space to move forward in cardiology from a multidisciplinary perspective.
Our presence at the congress will be marked by the presentation of innovative solutions in medical imaging, artificial intelligence applied to early diagnosis and technologies for the remote monitoring of patients. These proposals reinforce our commitment to the digital transformation of the healthcare system and consolidate our agreement with the SEC and the IMAS Foundation to improve healthcare and foster generative AI in cardiology.
Technology for more precise and personalised cardiology
Thursday 23rd October at 12 Noon (Sala Picasso, Floor -2). During the scientific sessions, we will participate in the Symposium "Generative AI in cardiology; Cardiomentor project". Our colleagues, Sergio Muñoz and Pedro Moreno will participate in this activity, along with Luis Rodríguez Padial (Toledo University Hospital), Ignacio Fernández Lozano (Puerta de Hierro University Hospital), Julián Pérez-Villacastín (San Carlos Clinical Hospital ), María Jesús Martín Martín (Ministry for Digital Transformation and Public Administration), Andrés José Román Vieiros (Barcelona Supercomputing Center) and Pablo Díez Villanueva (La Princesa University Hospital).
- In this symposium, we will have the opportunity to present our work on Cardiomentor, an artificial intelligence tool that is transforming cardiology by providing general practitioners with a reliable and up-to-date assistant for the detection and treatment of heart disease.
- This project is the result of collaboration between TECNALIA, the Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC) and the Spanish Society of Cardiology (SEC). It seeks not only to improve diagnostic accuracy, but also to improve the doctor-patient relationship through a balanced combination of technology, correctly processed data and empathy.
