At Egurtek 2026, TECNALIA will showcase its latest developments in new materials derived from wood by-products, circularity and robotics in construction.
TECNALIA will be taking part in Egurtek 2026, the International Forum of Architecture and Construction in Wood , which will be held on 28th and 29th October at BEC in Barakaldo. In this edition, we will be showcasing innovative solutions for industrialised construction based on the recovery of wood by-products, new types of wood-based panels, including particleboard and fibreboard, and robotics applied to the manufacture of construction products.
What will you be able to see at our stand?
Our stand will feature developments that are already helping the sector move towards more efficient, industrialised and circular construction.
- Among the solutions on display, different wood-based panels developed from by-products from furniture manufacturing stand out within the DIGINTRACE initiative.
- There will also be a robotic demonstration to assemble mosaic panels from reused offcuts of wood.
- Furthermore, we will showcase our technological services for industrialised construction in wood, designed to assess and validate key performance characteristics, such as safety, durability, structural behaviour, acoustic performance and fire resistance, providing added trust throughout the entire value chain.
