European Robotics Forum 2023 attracts robotics and AI experts from all over Europe

The European Robotics Forum 2023 is regarded as one of the most influential events for the robotics community in Europe, attracting a wide range of professionals and experts in the field of robotics and artificial intelligence.

    • This conference is a key event for those interested in robotics and AI, and a unique opportunity to learn about the latest trends and developments in the robotics industry.
    • Participants will have the opportunity to explore first-hand how public, industrial, commercial and scientific organisations are willing to collaborate around robotics.

This Forum will feature several sessions focused on robotics for healthcare, in which experts from TECNALIA will take part.

    Sessions focused on "Healthcare Robotics"

    • Session: Knowledge transfer from the Digital Innovation Hubs Network DIH-HERO (15 March 2023, 9:05-10:35) Track: B2B and Innovation, Room 208 - 2nd Floor

      • This workshop will give insights on how knowledge and which knowledge is transferred from the Digital Innovation Hubs Network (DIH) project DIH-HERO to companies, healthcare professionals and others.
      • Details about what works and what doesn’t work will be provided, together with KPIs how we measured the impact. This is based on running the project for four years.
      • Ainara Garzo will participate in this session, presenting some of the results of the work carried out in the DIH-HERO project on the aspects of certification and good practices for the development of health robotics will be presented. The problems identified by companies in the sector in these aspects will also be discussed. This workshop is part of the European project DIH HERO.
      • This project, DIH-HERO, has received funding from the European Union's Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement no. 825003.
    • Session: Trustable robots to make new medicines: needs and opportunities (15 March 2023, 09:05-10:35) Track: Healthcare Room 106 - 1st Floor

      • Anthony Remazeilles in the framework of the European project TraceBot (Traceable Robotic Handling of Sterile Medical Products) co-organises the workshop “engaging non-roboticists to understand needs/goals (policy, commercial, technical)"
      • The objective of this workshop is to bring together robotic scientists, pharmaceutic industrials, integrators and users to highlight the pharmaceutical expectations, and the technical and regulation challenges that should be addressed to foster the use of robotic solutions in the laboratory.
      • This project, Tracebot, has received funding from the European Union's Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement no. 101017089.
    • Session: EU Policy, Regulations, Standards (16 March 2023, 13:55-15:15) Track: Regulation and Standardisation Main Stage - 1st Floor

      • The session will provide an overview of current developments in regulations, EU Policy Standards (ISO, ITU, IEEE) and also discuss with the audience gaps, needs, future directions, possible contributions of euRobotics experts, and a roadmap of relevant issues.
      • Experts on standards, regulations and policies related to robotics will participate in this session. Michael Obach will represent the DIH-HERO project in which TECNALIA is leading the contributions to standards and best practices for health robotics.
