We will address the upcoming regulatory update on energy efficiency in buildings
The objective is to learn about the Basic Document on Energy Saving (CTE DB-HE), derived from the European Directive (2024/1275), with its milestones and future challenges, the inspection and control procedure carried out to ensure the quality of retrofitting actions in homes in the Basque Country and to show results of practical cases of energy monitoring.
- Furthermore, the acoustic component in energy retrofitting will be discussed, analysing the relationship between the energy improvement of façades and their impact on noise protection in buildings, from a technical and regulatory perspective.
- The technical guide "Façade retrofitting: acoustic criteria and technical solutions" will be presented.
Block 1: Energy Efficiency
- Regulatory update and future challenges: the new European Directive on Energy Efficiency (2024/1275) and its transposition into the CTE DB-HE.
- The value of inspections
- View from the other side of the barrier
- Quality control in works through testing
- Energy monitoring: results and lessons learned
Block 2: Acoustic Comfort
Our colleagues, María José de Rozas and Susana López de Aretxaga from the Acoustics Area LCCE / TECNALIA, will be participating.
