TECNALIA is attending the functional printing and printed electronics exhibition LOPEC 2024
TECNALIA is presenting an innovative process to print electronic circuits, sensors and other components directly onto flexible substrates, such as paper and plastic, opening up new possibilities in the design and manufacture of electronic devices.
LOPEC is the leading international printed electronics event. It combines talks (5-7 March) and an exhibition (6-7 March), which means that it is a great showcase for all that this emerging industry has to offer.
The event brings together manufacturers, industrial customers and research institutions.
TECNALIA will be presenting its demonstrators in the Spain Pavilion, in the following fields of application:
- Integration of functionalities directly on the final surface, independent of geometry and material
- Embedding of printed functionalities in composites
- Electronic additive manufacturing
- Integration of power and wireless communications
Posters and presentations
- Miren Hayet Otero is presenting a poster entitled “Fully printed temperature sensors for wireless applications: analysis of radio frequency resonators” as part of the smart sensors topic.
- As part of the functional materials topic, Julen Caballero Antón is giving a presentation on “Printed and integrated RFID antennas”.

- ICEX Spain Exports and Investments and the Spanish Economic and Commercial Office in Düsseldorf, in collaboration with the Functional Print Cluster, are organising for the first time a Spanish Pavilion at the LOPEC 2024 exhibition at the Messe München, Germany.
- The event is organised by the Munich trade fair in strategic partnership with the OE-A (Organic and Printec Electronics Association).
