This event, organised by the association AEMAC (Spanish Association of Composite Materials) in collaboration with the University of Seville, is celebrating its 25th anniversary with an in-person event at the Higher Technical School of Engineering of the University of Seville.

TECNALIA will be there to share its multi-technological and multi-sectoral knowledge, which is used to connect products, services and processes with current and future clients.

The event will mainly include talks by researchers that will take place in various rooms with specific themes. There will also be a stand area, and posters where researchers will be able to present their achievements.

TECNALIA’s expert team and their abilities in a prominent position

Our researchers will share their experience with all attendees with talks on materials, manufacturing processes, characterisation and industrial applications. TECNALIA wants to highlight not only its multi-technological excellence, but also its proximity to the market and the culture of cooperation with other entities and research centres.

  • June 21st, at 12.50pm. AEMAC Hall. Eduard Bellvert exhibition on advanced composite processes for the development of light rail vehicle structures with a high level of integration and fire-resistance requirements.
  • June 21st, at 4pm. ZIUR Hall. TECNALIA researcher Sonia García will talk about integrating recycled fibres into automotive injection moulded components.
  • June 22nd, at 12.30pm. Element hall. Aroa Iriarte Legarreta will talk about fast and efficient manufacturing of aeronautical carbon fibre preforms using direct resistance heating.
  • June 22nd, at 4pm. AIRBUS hall. TECNALIA researcher Oihane Echeverria will give a presentation with another researcher from the UPV/EHU on the development of more sustainable PUR formulations for structural applications.
  • June 22nd, at 4.20pm. Element hall. Richard Seddon will take part in one of the most international exhibitions together with other European researchers where he will share his experience in nano-enabled multifunctional RTM composite panels for urban transport.
  • June 22nd, at 4.40pm. Element hall. Ana Pérez Márquez will present results of the analysis of the mechanical properties of continuous-fibre composites with embedded printed electronics.
  • June 23rd, at 12.10pm. Element hall. TECNALIA researcher Richard Seddon will share the breakthroughs in structural biaxial monitoring systems in CFRP laminates developed in collaboration with other research centres such as UCLM and INTA.

If you need solutions in any of these areas, please contact TECNALIA’s research team or attend the talks.

We look forward to seeing you at Matcomp21 and showcase all TECNALIA’s capabilities and applications in the industry.
