We will be participating in the on-line working breakfast on “Quantum Enabling Technologies: transfer from Industry to Science”
The breakfast organised by INDUCIENCIA, INDUQUANT and INEUSTAR will analyse the opportunities that quantum technologies offer for the Science Industry and for companies with advanced capabilities in manufacturing, equipment and instrumentation.
The quantum auxiliary industry opens up a new avenue for growth for SMEs
Quantum technologies are moving towards a new phase of industrialisation. Their potential in fields such as computing, secure communications and advanced sensor technology is driving the creation of a value chain that requires specialised industrial capabilities.
In this context, companies with experience in advanced manufacturing, scientific equipment, instrumentation and technology services have the opportunity to position themselves in a high added-value market.
From the laboratory to the factory
During the session, we will analyse the role of quantum enabling technologies and their contribution to industrial scaling. We will also explore the potential of diamond-based quantum chips for advanced sensor applications, as well as the technological and manufacturing requirements associated with their development.
TECNALIA’s vision for the industrialisation of quantum technology
Our colleague, Irene López de Vallejo, Head of Quantum Business Development at TECNALIA, will share her vision of the development of the quantum auxiliary industry, the current state of these technologies and the capabilities required to drive their large-scale adoption.
Her presentation will showcase how the experience acquired by the Science Industry can help to accelerate the industrialisation of quantum solutions and create new opportunities for collaboration between suppliers, technology centres and other actors in the ecosystem.
