The use of robotics and serious games for neurorehabilitation demonstrated to be effective to increase the number of the movement repetitions and to engage patients doing therapy. Bringing this technology into patients’ homes could have the opportunity to maintain the therapy longer and according to their personal needs.

CONTENT

  • In this webinar TECNALIA will introduce you into the world of the new technologies for neurorehabilitation. Throughout the last 10 years we have intensively investigated robotic use for neurorehabilitation.

  • First results from the latest clinical evaluation with patients using the MERLIN robotic system at home will be presented. They demonstrate the efficacy and the acceptance of these systems.
