TECNALIA to host a technical conference organised by the Spanish Continuous Flooring Association
The Spanish Association of Continuous Flooring (AEPC) is organising a technical conference in Derio on 7 May in collaboration with TECNALIA as a benchmark centre for research and technological development. The aim of the meeting is to highlight the importance of the correct execution and maintenance of continuous flooring, with special emphasis on the industrial sector.
TECNALIA will present the “innovative technologies applied to cement-based solutions to improve the durability of flooring”.

Preliminary programme “technical conference on continuous pavements”
The conference will start at 8.30am with registration and an opening session, followed by two technical sessions.
Session 1:
- Concrete design for high-performance and high-demand concrete flooring - Déborah Cruz, HEIDELBERG MATERIALS
- Analysis of the categorisation of the durability of high-performance and high-demand concrete flooring - Germán Ramos Ruiz, UNIVERSITY OF NAVARRA
Session 2:
- Environmental management of concrete flooring
- Fourth revolution in industrial flooring
- Nanotechnology applied to cement-based solutions to increase the service life of flooring - TECNALIA
- Keys for the design, production and control of high performance flooring - Albert de la Fuente, UNIVERSIDAD POLITÉCNICA DE CATALUÑA
The programme also includes a networking space and a technical discussion before closing at 2pm.
On the afternoon of 6 May, the Extraordinary General Meeting of AEPC members will also be held, and they will be able to visit TECNALIA’s laboratories and facilities.
