4.0 HPDC Structural parts International Forum

2017.11.23

Venue: Bizkaia Scientific and Technology Park, Central Building Auditorium, Ibaizabal Bidea, Building 101, Zamudio (Bizkaia)
Date: 2017.11.23
Hours: 9:30am - 6.10pm
Duration: 8h 40 min
Organiser: TECNALIA
Price: Attendee €121 (VAT Included) | Speaker €302.50 (VAT Included)
Iban Vicario

With this seminar, TECNALIA seeks to bring together die casting companies and suppliers of the technology and raw materials included in the value chain, to develop the design, implementation and use of structural parts produced by die casting. Furthermore, different solutions will be exhibited for companies interested in finding out about the diverse improvements that this technology can bring to their products, such as the reduced weight of the parts.

ISSUES TO BE ADDRESSED

  • Design, implementation and validation of HPDC for structural parts.
  • Improvements in the die casting process (Industry 4.0, Sensors, Vacuum Systems, Dies).
  • Advanced materials, new alloys, new release agents.
  • Advanced simulation of HPDC structural parts and dies.

TARGET AUDIENCE

  • Production, Engineering, Design and Simulation Directors and Technicians and Managers of die casting companies interested in structural part developments and novel technological developments as well as suppliers of the value chain seeking to enter the structural part market (Manufacturers of dies, alloys, etc.).
  • Companies that design their own products and want to reduce the weight or improve the characteristics of their parts for different sectors, particularly the transport sector (automotive), including those that do not currently manufacture castings.
