TECNALIA will present its electric vehicle simulator, Dynacar®, in Barcelona

Next week, the research centre will take part in EVS27, the largest international electric vehicle conference

Those attending the conference will be able to try out this virtual car first hand, which will reduce the development time and costs of automotive systems

The TECNALIA applied research centre will present the Dynacar® electric vehicle simulator next week in Barcelona. This virtual car, which is validated from the engine to the gearbox or the ABS, will reduce both development time and costs of automotive systems. The event will take place in the EVS27, the leading international conference on electric vehicles, which will be hosted for the first time in Barcelona and will be held between the 17th and 20th November at Fira de Barcelona's Gran Vía venue.

Developed by TECNALIA, Dynacar® is a simulation test system for cars of the future, which will allow the design, development and validation of each one of the vehicle's components. Once the manufacturers have the first prototypes of an engine, gearbox, battery or ABS system, they can validate them thanks to this tool by carrying out a simulation in real-time. In this way, TECNALIA can respond to the needs of the manufacturers and suppliers of vehicle systems and reduce the development time and costs of new products.

In order to get to know Dynacar® closely, those attending the conference may come to the TECNALIA stand, C350, where real-life demonstrations of the system will take place. Visitors will also be able to try out this virtual car for themselves and carry out interactive tests of the system.

As well as Dynacar®, TECNALIA will present new technology for installing the vehicle's engine at the wheel, so as to allocate the space normally occupied by the engine for other uses.

Dynacar®, an international tool

Developed by TECNALIA, Dynacar® has already become an international benchmark in the automotive components simulation field and since last year has become the leading company in Aries Engineering which handles Dynacar® distribution in Europe and Asia.

For its part, Wineman Technology, a U.S. company based in Detroit and a leader in the design and development of high technology test equipment for propulsion systems, has been responsible for the marketing and distribution of Dynacar in the United States, Canadá and Mexico for more than three years.
