Our physiological signals laboratory is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment to take high-quality measurements of the electrical activity of muscles and the heart, the bioelectric activity of the brain and all kinds of signals or biopotentials, such as the electrodermal activity of the skin.

Description

This research laboratory is focused on developing and validating medical devices and new therapies for diseases of the nervous system.

The facility has an area of 40 m2 dedicated to taking high precision measurements of signals, biopotentials and physiological parameters protected from external interference.

The equipment makes it possible to simultaneously measure high and low frequency brain activity, is compatible with microelectrodes, neurography, ECoG, EEG and EMG, and makes it possible to develop real-time brain computer interface applications compatible with TMS-EEG and fMRI-EEG stimulators.

  • Neurone platform (Bittium).
  • EasyCap low-noise active electrode system
  • Unipolar and bipolar amplifiers (BrainAmp)
  • Portable neurophysiological signal amplifiers and signal generation equipment.
  • Trigno Avanti platform (Delsys).
  • Spirometry, oximetry, pulse and heart rate, conductivity and skin temperature measurement platform.
