Characterisation and failure analysis in bolts

We determine the failure mode and the root cause of breakages in bolted joints and we draw up recommendations with corrective and/or preventive actions and potential predictive maintenance actions.

Our studies range from the determination of mechanical, chemical, microstructural and corrosion properties to the dimensional analysis of the fixing elements.

We carry out standardised tests in accordance with international standards (UNE-EN ISO 898) or particular specifications.

We have an extensive network of ISO 17025 accredited laboratories with the resources and knowledge in the field of testing/analysis, assessment, diagnosis and consultancy.

Our teams of experts help to ensure the quality of the fixing elements (pins, screws, bolts, etc.) by means of tests and analysis.
