    TECNALIA is working with Plásticos y Claraboyas Matilla to validate the reliability of its solutions through accredited testing and TECNALIA’s own methodologies

    TECNALIA increases market confidence through specialist testing

    TECNALIA has recently offered its technical expertise and experience to the company Plásticos y Claraboyas Matilla to ensure the reliability of their solutions. Specifically, it has carried out specialised tests in its accredited laboratories, focusing on validating critical safety and reliability parameters for hatches and skylights.

    Accredited testing of hatches

    To validate the performance of the hatches, TECNALIA carried out, accredited watertightness tests and an assessment of insulation against direct airborne noise in accordance with the UNE-EN ISO 10140-2:2022 standard, thereby ensuring compliance with key requirements regarding comfort and safety.

    Accredited skylight testing

    To validate the performance of the skylights, TECNALIA carried out accredited tests in accordance with the UNE-EN 1873:2006 standard, including the assessment of mechanical strength, impact resistance, watertightness, air permeability, performance in the event of external fire and insulation against direct airborne noise: all of these tests were carried out within the scope of our accreditation to ensure the product’s correct performance under real-world conditions of use.
