“This mission is a great chance to strengthen TECNALIA’s technological presence in China”

TECNALIA travels to China to strengthen alliances in the aeronautical sector and explore new opportunities in electric air mobility (eVTOL).

China is becoming the world’s largest and most dynamic aeronautical market, with strong growth in aircraft manufacturing and the development of its own industrial chain. A few days ago, TECNALIA was part of a Basque delegation, organised by Basque Trade & Investment, that visited the country in order to get to know this ecosystem first-hand and make contacts with the main players in the sector.

TECNALIA explored opportunities for collaboration and advance the internationalisation of its technologies.

Together with TECNALIA, other Basque companies such as Aernnova, Tubacex, Ibarmia and Fagor Automation, travelled to Shanghai, Wuhu and Shenyang to hold strategic meetings with COMAC, AVIC and leading companies in electric air mobility (eVTOL).

These visits include talks, round tables and B2B meetings, which will allow the companies to explore opportunities for collaboration and advance the internationalisation of their technologies.

This mission is a great chance to strengthen TECNALIA’s technological presence in a market that is growing steadily, and to promote innovation and the development of solutions that respond to the demands of the global aeronautical industry. TECNALIA also has ongoing support from Basque Trade in China, which offers accompanies and advises them in order to maximise their impact.
