    TECNALIA joins forces with URDECON

"We will work together to develop and validate innovative technological solutions to address the major challenges facing the sector”

The agreement will drive innovation as a key lever to increase the competitiveness, sustainability and efficiency of the sector

TECNALIA has entered into an agreement with URDECON to establish a stable and future-oriented collaboration ecosystem for the construction sector.

This alliance aims to integrate TECNALIA's R&D&I capabilities with URDECON's operational experience, focusing on transversal technological axes, such as robotics applied to construction, process automation, circularity of materials and construction systems, as well as advanced digitalisation and industrialisation.

Challenges for the future of construction

Through this alliance, we will work together on the development and validation of innovative technological solutions to address the major challenges facing the sector, such as shortage of labour, increasing on-site safety and productivity, reducing environmental impact and adapting to the principles of the circular economy.

The agreement also contemplates the identification and implementation of pilot projects, joint participation in national and international initiatives and the effective transfer of knowledge and technology to the market.

Both organisations will consolidate a long-term collaboration model that reinforces URDECON's position as an innovative construction company and TECNALIA's position as a benchmark technology partner for the transformation of the construction sector.

In addition to the alliance, URDECON has joined the TECNALIA partner companies ecosystem, which now involves more than 70 entities.
