Technology and sustainability: InnoMatSyn connects Europe through advanced materials

The European InnoMatSyn project has officially launched its website with the aim of boosting initiatives around advanced and innovative materials (AdMa) on a regional, national and European level. This platform informs about the objectives of the project, and also invites key stakeholders in the sector to actively participate in the creation of a collaborative ecosystem.

Advanced materials are revolutionising sectors such as energy, mobility and health. In this context, InnoMatSyn will be a catalyst to maximise the impact of these technologies by synergistically connecting existing initiatives and promoting safe and sustainable development.

    Benefits of the project

Key benefits of the project include:

    • Creation of an interconnected European ecosystem for advanced materials
    • AI-based knowledge repository, which will facilitate access to competences, publications, call results, etc.
    • Technology leakage risk assessment, with guidelines and support for Member States
    • Support for joint funding calls, fostering transnational collaboration

    TECNALIA and materials research

TECNALIA carries out research into the behaviour of materials and components, including design, processing, integrity, use and recycling using a holistic approach, combining science, research and development, with industrial pilot plant validation. Consequently, TECNALIA provides innovation to a competitive and environmentally sustainable industry by committing to a circular economy model.

As part of this project, together with the other organisations, TECNALIA is taking a decisive step towards consolidating Europe as a leader in materials innovation, promoting technological solutions that respond to the major challenges of the present and the future.
