A digital platform will be developed whose mission is to connect the most relevant stakeholders and promote the exchange of knowledge on applied artificial intelligence

Digital technologies and AI-based solutions are increasingly used to improve products and manufacturing processes. Integrating AI with advanced manufacturing technologies and systems makes it possible to exploit its full potential by achieving a higher level of adaptability, efficiency, and robustness. The EU and Japan have recognised cooperation and knowledge sharing as key aspects to deploy these technologies widely.

The EU-Japan IA project, financed with European funds, will develop a digital platform whose mission is to connect the most relevant stakeholders of the European Union (EU) and Japan and enable the exchange of knowledge on artificial intelligence, applied to the advanced manufacturing sector.

Among other tools, this platform will include a specific functionality to promote the exchange of information on the respective research programmes and technological results. It will also organise various activities to stimulate cooperation, establish synergies, create networking opportunities, etc.

The aim is to establish, stimulate, and support long-term cooperation between participants, connecting them through the project platform, and using modern online awareness-raising approaches.
