United Nations grants us observer status at the climate change summit

29 November 2019

We’ll present our adaptation and mitigation initiatives

We have been approved by the UN as an observing organisation at the meeting session of the UN Climate Change Conference COP25, which will take place in Madrid from 2-13 December.

The observer status is a privilege that enables us to take part in the organisation's activities. The conference is an essential step in the climate change process and promotes plans to mitigate and adapt to climate change that countries are developing: incorporating actions in the financial area, transparency in actions, forests and agriculture, technology, creation of capabilities, losses and damages, cities, oceans, and more.

The event has two zones: the blue zone, a space for all the sessions and talks between different parties; and the green zone, which will foster participation.

Specifically, we will have a stand in the science and innovation space, where we will showcase our developments to adapt cities and infrastructure to the impact of climate change, as well as our solutions for energy decarbonisation and harnessing and converting CO2.
