    From trends to industry reality: designing new solutions

    In an ever-changing environment, bakeries need to be at the forefront of trends in order to stay competitive. But how to turn these trends into real and effective solutions for the sector?

    In this workshop, TECNALIA and the Bizkaia Bakeries Association join forces to offer you a complete overview of the sector and present the latest trends and innovative solutions to improve the efficiency and sustainability of your processes. The event will take place on 28 October at 4pm at the headquarters of the Bizkaia Bakeries Association.

    What will be covered during this workshop?

    • Analysis of current and future trends in the bakery sector
    • Presentation of food, health and sustainability trends with examples and success stories from the bakery sector
    • Working groups and project design
    • Networking and opportunities to meet other professionals in the sector

    This first part will be led by Izaskun Marañón, a health researcher at TECNALIA and a food expert.

    After a short break, a practical session will begin in the Association's bakery: In this second part, Juanma Oribe, a professor at the Bizkaia Bakery School, will explain the details of the baking process for three healthy breads, which will be baked with the attendees. In addition, an innovative product designed to disinfect bakery equipment will be presented.
