“As part of the World Day for Safety and Health at Work, TECNALIA reinforces its commitment to the development of technological solutions that promote the safety and health of people in their working environment”
The InteX project is an innovative and pioneering initiative towards the proper use of exoskeletons
We present a unique, innovative and pioneering solution in the market, making all our R&D available to companies by means of an objective assessment of each job. We conduct an assessment of individuals to measure the impact of the use of exoskeletons in the workplace through performance indicators such as metabolic cost, cardiovascular strain and muscle fatigue.
TECNALIA's team of experts carries out a comprehensive assessment using test benches adapted to each person's work environment. This process helps companies to make the best decision when investing in exoskeletons, choosing the one that best meets the occupational health and safety needs of their teams.
The use of exoskeletons is growing in the industrial field and the range available has been extended in recent years. At the same time, this makes it increasingly difficult to choose the exoskeleton that best suits the needs of the user. The InteX initiative arose from this growing need and TECNALIA's experience in this field.
This context has brought to light a new need that TECNALIA has detected in a pioneering way: Which exoskeleton does your company really need?
We bring the InteX portable lab directly to companies
InteX is also part of the European EIT Manufacturing project, in which CTAG (Galician Automotive Technology Centre) participates, among other partners. TECNALIA can take an InteX portable laboratory directly to companies and carry out the assessments.
InteX enables manufacturers to estimate ROI and exoskeleton suppliers to evaluate the performance of their systems with minimal disruption through modular, customised test benches that simulate the real working environment.
This project is a major commitment for TECNALIA's personalised health area: at the WORKER.TEC group, we strive to promote the health and safety of people in the workplace. In this area, we develop technological solutions at the three levels that affect the health and safety of people: their working environment, the processes in which they participate and the conditions of each individual.
