    Safer hydrogen distribution networks in conjunction with FIDEGAS

    We are working with FIDEGAS to develop advanced solutions to monitor mixtures of hydrogen, CO₂ and CH₄.

    The system developed has been validated in real conditions by means of a test panel connected to the loop of the H2SAREAproject, a consortium led by Nortegas. Furthermore, tube sensing has been explored to analyse mixture layering phenomena or blendings.

    In the H2SAREA project, materials, components and systems have been analysed and evaluated, considering the blending of hydrogen into natural gas as a possible scenario in distribution networks of the future.

    H2BIDEA; technology solutions for the deployment of new distribution networks

    This alliance is being continued in the H2BIDEA project, which seeks to develop technological solutions for the deployment of new 100% hydrogen distribution networks.

    To ensure the safe deployment of hydrogen generation and distribution technologies, real-time monitoring and visualisation systems have been implemented in distribution networks of the future. These systems not only enhance safety, but also optimise the efficient management of hydrogennetworks.
